Elias C. Schryver
was born in March 1782 in Esopus NY and baptized on the 31st of
that month. He was the second child and son of Martinus and Margrietje
Schryver. His baptismal sponsors were Elias and Annatje
Terpenning. In the 1810 census, Elias and his wife were between 26
and 45, were married and living in Kingston with a son and a daughter,
both under 10. In 1850, Elias C. Schryver was in Fishkill,
Dutchess County, NY.
