John C. Scriver was born on September 24, 1843. He was the
first child and only son of John
A. H. Livingston Schryver and Elizabeth
Christie.
According to the Windham Journal of July 21,
1898, John had been the proprietor of the "Central House" in
the village of Windham.
John died in Harford CT on July 17, 1870 at the age of
26. He is buried in Cairo NY.
