John A.H. Livingston Schryver was christened on June 6, 1813 at the Katsbaan Dutch Reformed Church in Windham, Greene County, NY.  He was the first child/son of Martinus and Lena Falk Schryver.

In both the Burch and Schock work, John is variously named as John A. Scriber or Scriver.  He was a boatman.

He died of mumps in 1850 at the age of 38.  His place of death was Cairo NY, also in Greene County, but no place of burial is indicated.

Elizabeth Christie (or Christe) was born on January 1, 1817.

She is buried in Kiskatom as wife of John Scriber.  The census records of Cairo in 1850 and Leyden DAR Bible records list Elizabeth Scriver with children John and Helen.  No husband is mentioned, but John is in census deaths of 1850

We have no information of John and Elizabeth's marriage.  They had two (2) children.

The children of John and Elizabeth Christie Schryver were part of the sixth generation of the Schryver family in America:
  John C. Scriver b: September 24, 1843; d: July 17, 1898
  Helen Ann Scriver  b: January 20, 1846; d: December 11, 1886
