Alice Elisabeth Schryver was born on 7 December
1900. She was the fifth child and second daughter of Frank M.
and Sara Jane Baltz Schryver. She and Alta were twins.
Alice was educated in local schools and, according to
her obituary, "attended a teachers' college". She taught
30 years in Geneva and Jamestown schools and retired in 1969.
She died at the age of 74 on February 12, 1975.
At the time of her death, she was living in Hollyhock, Florida.
The funeral was held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 15 at Frederick
Brothers Funeral Home, LaFargeville. The Reverend Durward Winner
of the LaFargeville Methodist Church officiated. She is buried in
the Omar Cemetery.
